Ms. Bakas is a Paralegal for Boston Capital Finance. Her responsibilities include managing and servicing multifamily mortgage closings with developers, outside counsel and third party vendors. She assists in the review of their complex real estate, tax credit and loan documentation, pre-to-post closing, thereby ensuring that all due diligence are reviewed internally, properly vetted and approved by capital partners. Ms. Bakas uses her considerable multitasking and organizational skills to help Boston Capital Finance achieve top-notch performance.

Ms. Bakas is an experienced paralegal. Prior to joining Boston Capital in 2022, she worked as a real estate paralegal, supporting a team of attorneys on the refinances, purchases and closings of residential properties. Working closely with the attorneys, mortgage lenders, and home buyers. In that position she also conducted online research, locating deeds, and property cards. As well as drafting requests for title examinations, land surveys and Municipal Lien Certificates.

Ms. Bakas is currently a candidate for her Juris Doctorate’s at New England Law Boston. She attends classes at night, upon completion of her credits she plans to take the Massachusetts Bar Exam. Ms. Bakas holds a B.A in Legal Studies and History from Suffolk University. She is a Notary Public for the Commonwealth. She also holds a certification from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), where she is certified in the Greek language. She is also fluent in the Albanian language.
