Mr. Regan is responsible for the disposition of real estate assets and partnership interests to maximize value returned to the company’s investors. Since joining Boston Capital in 2005, Mr. Regan has successfully disposed of more than 500 properties valued at over $1 billion. As part of the disposition of real estate and partnership interests, he promotes the rehabilitation and preservation of affordable housing through the use of LIHTCs and tax exempt bonds.
Additionally, Mr. Regan serves on the Board of Directors of the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing (“CARH”). CARH serves as the nation’s premier association advocating for rural affordable housing. He meets with Members of Congress, staff and administration officials from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) and the US Department of Agriculture/Rural Development (“USDA/RD”) to advocate for affordable housing.
Prior to joining Boston Capital, Mr. Regan worked at State Street Corporation. Mr. Regan earned a BA in Business and Financial Economics from Saint Anselm College. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Massachusetts and an active member of the Real Estate Finance Association in Boston. In addition, Mr. Regan received a certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University and has completed coursework at the MIT Center for Real Estate.
