Overview

Boston Capital Real Estate Partners (“BCRE”) was established in 2002 to expand Boston Capital’s apartment investing footprint into conventional market rate multifamily rental housing. We specialize in originating and executing value and opportunity-driven equity, preferred equity and mezzanine debt investments throughout the U.S. utilizing discretionary multi-investor fund vehicles, separate accounts and strategic joint ventures for investors including pensions, financial firms, foundations, endowments, and family offices. BCRE has invested approximately $1.6 billion in market rate apartments, expanding Boston Capital’s extensive reach, product coverage and holdings in most major and secondary markets in the U.S.

On behalf of our investors, we are responsible for transaction sourcing, investment analytics, coordinating and conducting market research and analysis, engineering, due diligence, acquisition, financing, construction / renovation, asset management, investor reporting, finance and accounting, portfolio risk management and disposition. We negotiate with sellers, owners, developers, operators and lenders to obtain appropriate investment terms for each project. Ultimately, we oversee the execution of each investment through the acquisition, construction/renovation, lease-up, asset management and disposition stages. We use best practices developed firm-wide from over 40 years of specialized apartment experience to optimize the returns on investment.

Our senior professionals have extensive experience in real estate acquisition, investment, finance, asset management, construction and dispositions, having overseen, in addition to BCRE’s investments, in excess of $13 billion of multifamily and other commercial property investments. Our senior management group averages over 23 years of real estate and finance experience and has been together since the inception of BCRE. With extensive industry contacts, we have cultivated long-term relationships with national and regional multifamily developers, owners, operators, managers, brokers, lenders and service providers. These relationships and BCRE’s reputation for performance position us to source proprietary products and to underwrite and assemble a program of investment opportunities to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns.
