Affordable Rental Housing A.C.T.I.O.N. –  The mission of the A.C.T.I.O.N. campaign is to protect and preserve the Low Income Housing Tax Credit as a means of providing a wide variety of affordable rental housing options to low- income working families in communities across the nation.

National Leased Housing The National Leased Housing Association is a national organization representing all major participants—private and public—in the affordable multifamily rental housing industry. NLHA is a vital and effective advocate for 550 housing provider organizations and their consultants, specializing in federally assisted rental housing. The National Association of Home Builders is a federation of more than 800 state and local builders associations throughout the United States. NAHB analyzes policy issues, monitors and works toward improving the housing finance system, and forecasts economic trends. The association also represents the industry’s interests on Capitol Hill by striving to ensure that housing remains a national priority when laws are made and policies are established. It also works with federal agencies on regulations affecting the housing industry in areas such as mortgage finance, codes, energy and the environment. The National Council of State Housing Agencies is a national, nonprofit organization created by the nation’s state housing finance agencies. NCSHA represents its members in Washington before Congress, the Administration, and federal agencies concerned with housing, such as HUD and the Treasury, and with other advocates for affordable housing.

NH& Established in 1971, the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association is a national membership organization that promotes partnerships among sophisticated professionals in the affordable multifamily housing field. NH&RA’s members include multifamily developers, lenders, investment bankers, nonprofit organizations, attorneys, property managers, accountants, financial advisors, syndicators, and state and local agencies. The National Multi Housing Council is a national association representing the interests of the nation’s larger and most prominent apartment firms.
