Boston Capital Securities, Inc. Business Continuity Planning

Boston Capital Securities, Inc. (“BCSI”) has developed a business continuity plan on how we will respond
to events that significantly disrupt our business. Since the timing and impact of disasters and disruptions is
unpredictable, BCSI will have to be flexible in responding to actual events as they occur. BCSI is
committed to ensuring that we react promptly and effectively in order to meet our client’s needs in the
event of a disaster or disruption. With that in mind, BCSI is providing you with this information on our
business continuity plan.

Contacting BCSI – After a significant business disruption occurs you can contact BCSI as you usually do at
800-445-1622, or 800-955-2733 for Investor Services, or go to our web site, www.bostoncapital.com for
instructions.

Boston Capital Securities, Inc. Business Continuity Plan – BCSI plans to quickly recover and resume
business operations after a significant business disruption and respond by safeguarding our employees and
property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting the firm’s books and records, and
allowing our customers to transact business.

The primary goal of BCSI’s business continuity plan is to ensure that critical business practices can
continue immediately following the declaration of a disaster. The plan defines critical staffing needs and
systems, data back up and recovery, and a back up facility related to restoring business operations with
minimal impact. The back up facility is equipped to support the business processes that have been
categorized as activities that are mission critical to our core business and/or are required to meet our
regulatory obligations.

Varying Disruptions – Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope, such as only our firm, a
single building housing our firm, the business district where our firm is located, the city where we are
located, or the whole region. In the event of a significant business disruption, BCSI and Investor Services
will transfer its critical employees and operations to its backup facility and expects to resume business
within 48 hours. BCSI will notify the public through our company web site, www.bostoncapital.com,
and/or a recorded message on the main telephone line 800-445-1622 on how to contact us. The scope of
the significant business disruption will dictate the length of time BCSI will operate from its back up
facility.
